Who do you send books to? |
| We send primarily to Pastors and leaders, colleges and libraries. We have around 4,500 pastors on our regular program. Many of those we send to have been recommended so that they are reliable and trustworthy. |
In which countries? |
| We send to 140 nations where books are either unobtainable or unaffordable. Click here for a comprehensive listing. |
Why? |
| In many parts of the world those who are called to preach and teach lack basic training in Christian doctrine. By supplying them with new, good Christian literature we can help to equip them so that they are able to lead and develop others in the faith. |
How do you choose the books? |
| We choose teaching books that cover the basic doctrines of the Christian faith, and preferably ones that are simply written - without using many western illustrations. We keep a database of books sent so that we can ensure, over time, that pastors get a good balance of subject matter. We also buy directly from Publishers who give us the best prices! |
Do you want my old books? |
| No thank you, unless you have some good quality teaching books, commentaries and bibles! They would need to be in excellent condition. |
Do you only supply English books? |
| No, we have a small quantity of foreign editions in stock. However we could email you with a catalogue showing possible availability of many titles in foreign languages. |
Who pays for the books you send? |
|
We have faithful donors who give, often on a regular basis through the Sovereign World Trust Book Club. American donors give through Sovereign World International. We also receive gifts from individuals, trusts and churches. Many Sovereign World authors make a real contribution by foregoing royalties. Authors and other publishers sometimes give us substantial quantities of books, at no charge. |
I can't give much, but I would like to pray. How can I? |
|
We really need prayer. If you would like some prayer information email us to let us know that you would like to be added to our Prayer Partner list. Prayer information via email, contact jan@sovereignworldtrust.com |
